Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman began studying violin at the age of 6 with Earlene Koons. Now a high school junior, she has more recently been studying with Carl Cook. Emily played in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra for four years, and will be starting her second year in the Youth Symphony of Kansas City program. Emily enjoys playing a variety of styles of music, from music by Lindsey Stirling to Irish fiddling and bluegrass to classical. Emily enjoys playing violin/viola duets at home with her younger sister, as well as string quartet music with her sister and a couple of fellow musicians from Liberty North.
