Emily Coleman
Emily Coleman began studying violin at the age of 6 with Earlene Koons. Now a high school junior, she has more recently been studying with Carl Cook, and has been playing in the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra for the past four years. Emily enjoys playing a variety of styles of music, from music by Lindsey Stirling to Irish fiddling and bluegrass to classical. During the past year she has been fortunate to be able to play violin/viola duets at home with her younger sister, as well as solos accompanied by her mother.
