Jewell Street Five
The core of this group of Liberty/Kearney musicians has been performing together for more nearly 13 years. In 2022 the Five are keyboard (Steve Hawkins), bass (Andrew Allen), trumpet/flugelhorn (Lee Minor) trombone (Kim Murphy) and saxophone (Tina Thaden). Their genre is loosely “jazz,” but includes Dixieland, Latin and the Great American Songbook. They perform at a variety of venues and events throughout the year and regularly present a fundraiser for Corbin Theatre at Garrison during the Christmas Season.
